MyTime Kroger is an online employee portal that helps associates manage their work schedule, request time off, and stay organized in one place.
You can use it on a computer or mobile device to submit requests, check approvals, and make changes without needing to contact HR every time.
This guide explains everything in simple steps so you can easily manage your time off.
On the web portal (MyTime Kroger)
- Log in to the MyTime Kroger portal using your Kroger EUID and password. This is usually done through your division’s UKG or Kronos login page.
- On the Home screen, click the arrow on the My Schedule tile to open the calendar view.
- In My Calendar or My Schedule, select the date or dates you want off.
- Click the blue Request (or New Request) button at the top of the time grid.
- Choose Time Off or Time Off Request.
- Select the type of time off (vacation, personal, sick, unpaid, etc.), confirm the start and end dates or shifts, and add any notes if your store encourages them.
- Click Submit or Apply. The request will then appear as pending until your manager approves or denies it.
On the UKG Dimensions mobile app
- Open the UKG / Kronos app and sign in with your Kroger EUID and password.
- Tap Requests or My Time Off, then choose Time Off.
- Select the dates you want off, choose the correct time‑off type, and include any notes.
- Tap Submit. The request will appear in your manager’s queue and in your own requests list.
How to cancel a pending time off request?
If you change your mind and your time off request is still pending, you can usually cancel or withdraw it yourself in MyTime.
On the web portal (MyTime Kroger)
- Sign in to MyTime Kroger and open My Schedule or My Calendar by clicking the arrow on the My Schedule tile.
- In the calendar view, click the pending time‑off block to open the Your request panel.
- Click Cancel request (or Delete in some layouts). The change is immediate, so double‑check the dates before you confirm.
- You can also go to Home → My Time Off or Requests, open the list of pending requests, select the one you want to cancel, and choose Cancel request or Delete.
On the UKG Dimensions mobile app
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to Requests → Time Off or My Time Off.
- Tap the pending request you want to cancel.
- Choose the Cancel or Delete option and confirm.
This removes the request from your manager’s queue and keeps your schedule accurate.
What to do if your time off request is already approved?
If your time off has already been approved, you usually cannot cancel it yourself in MyTime; it must be adjusted or removed by a manager or scheduler.
- If your plans change, talk to your manager or scheduler as soon as possible and explain your situation clearly.
- Ask them to either cancel the approved time off or adjust the dates if your store and contract allow it.
- In some setups, they may need to overwrite the approved time off or create a new schedule entry to reflect the change.
- In unionized environments, approved vacation or protected time off may be harder to cancel without a solid, documented reason, so early communication is important.
If your manager cannot or will not change the approved time off, you may be able to ask for a shift swap with another associate, depending on your division’s rules and app features.
How to withdraw a pending time off request?
Withdrawing a pending time off request is the same as canceling it while it is still waiting for approval.
- On the web portal, open My Schedule or My Calendar, click the pending block, go into the Your request panel, and choose Cancel request or Delete.
- From Home → Requests or My Time Off, open the list of pending requests, select the correct one, and use the Cancel or Delete option.
- On mobile, open the pending time‑off request under Requests → Time Off, then tap Cancel or Delete and confirm.
These steps help you remove a request that you no longer need, so your manager does not have to consider it when creating the schedule.
Can you request time off with less than 14 days notice?
Many associates ask whether they can request time off with less than 14 days notice. In many UKG Kronos setups, the system will allow you to submit a request even if the date is close, but approval depends on your store’s policies, staffing needs, and any union or contract rules rather than the software itself.
- Some divisions or union contracts require two weeks’ notice for planned vacation or paid time off, while urgent or emergency requests may be treated differently.
- During peak periods such as holidays or busy seasons, last‑minute requests are more likely to be denied if the schedule is already locked or staffing is tight.
- If your request is short‑notice, it helps to explain your situation clearly and submit it as early as possible, even if it’s inside the 14‑day window.
